How to find SQL Server account name ?

    I need to find account name that SQL Server instance is installed. Is it possible ?

    You could use the SQL Server Configuration Manager

    Try this,

    DECLARE @ServiceaccountName VARCHAR(250)

    EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_instance_regread N'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE',

    N'SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSSQLSERVER', N'ObjectName',

    @ServiceAccountName OUTPUT, N'no_output'

    SELECT @ServiceaccountName
