How To enable backups from specific computers to a shared drive

  Hi ,

  I am trying to setup Backup Maintenance plan but my thing is that i want to put the bakup file on shared network drive not on local machine .so when job runs the bakup file should be on network shared drive .

  So can anyone suggest me how to difine the path for that in Backup command?

  When I need to do it, I use UNC path (\\MyServerName\Dirctory\File.bak)

  And make sure the service account has write privileges on the UNC path.
