How to Download Dundas Chart component for SQL 2005 reporting services

    I installed sql 2005 client along with the BI Visual Studio on my machine . But when I open any report that was having graphs or pei charts open as in xml format because of missing Dundas charts component . how I can resolve this please

    other reports not having chart opens without any problem. HOw to install and get this missing component and idea please.

    The short answer is you need SSRS 2008 or SSRS 2008 R2 to use Dundas charts native because back in 2005 Dundas charts are for pay custom components. Microsoft later bought most of the components which was released with SSRS 2008 and up.
