How to disable OPENROWSET command in SQL 2000

  Hi Team,

  I want to disable the OPENROWSET command in my production server. In SQL 2005 we hv a option of sp_configure 'Ad Hoc Distributed Queries', 0. But not sure hw to do the same enable/disable in SQL 2000. coz this ''Ad Hoc Distributed Queries' not there in the SQL 2000 sp_configure list at all.

  (or does it hv anything to do with DB permission??). Anyone's help highly appreciated. Many thx.
