Good morning all.
Would anyone be able to suggest how one goes about creating stored proceedures? and/or suggestions/pointers to where one could get information on how to create stored proceedures steps.
Thanks so much in advance for any information you ares able to provide.

Not sure if I understand you problem, but a good starting point as ever is Books Online. for more advanced examples try any SQL book or have a look at the scripts on this site.

Another option is to use the templates in Query Analyzer. They would help with the formatting.
I would recommend something like "Professional SQL Server 2000 Programming" if you are just starting out with stored procedures and T-SQL.

Hi,
One way to get started is to use the Stored Procedure Wizard.
Go into Enterprise Manager, Tool, Wizards, Storped Procedure. it will guide you thruhg some simple stored procs.
Then go to Query
Analyzers take a lool and see waht was generated.
