This is a SQL Server site, not a MySQL site. You may have better luck at somewhere like dbforums

You can download a free administration tool from MySQL. It's a GUI interface, and then you can go to backup & restore options without having to use the command line. It's a bit different than MS_SQL of course, but the concept is the same. I think you have to create a "project" and give it a name, such as "MyDatabase_Backup_Project". Then select everything to be backed up.
MySQL has it's own forum on their website, although you won't get the quantity & quality of responses that you do here !! 😀
