you can use link servers and do a select into...

or you can use SSIS.

If the servers are on the same network then it is possible to add the other server as a linked server and then query this using a four-part name.

Using SSMS select Server Objects --> Linked Servers and right click New Linked Server.

Under your sever name there are various nodes, server objects is the third one down

i have added that now.. but i am not sure what should be given under security tab.. can you please guide me in that case?
