Hi,
I'm trying to connect Performance Point Server 2007 to SQL Server 2008. PPS doesn't allow to connect to SQL Server 2008. It asks for the SQL Server 2005 instance. Will this problem be resolved with PPS SP1?
Is there any PPS SP2 available?

I have done this for PPS 2007 M & A and after you download and install SP1 you will be fine and you will be able to proceed with the PPS installation. For M & A the only other thing that is not fully supported with SP1 and SQL 2008 is the SQL Reports report item for SSRS 2008, but you can do this for a workaround -- Performance Point Server - Integrating SSRS2008 Report View.
PerformancePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (x86): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=28B1F86B-B7F2-4215-8BC9-8F8507FF8831&displaylang=en
PerformancePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (x64): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=6245C354-9191-4C4D-8C0C-C10D6C778AF8&displaylang=en
Full support for SQL Server 2008 is coming in SP2 which is slated to be out later in December supposedly. Not sure what else will be included but have seen postings in regards to Hyper-V support.
