How to configure Static port for SQL Server 2000 defalt instance?

  Hi,

  We have SQL Server 2000 default instance listening on 1433.

  I want to change it to a different static port?

  Could you please tell me how to do that?

  Go into SQL Server Network Utility, click TCP/IP and click properties- here you can set the port number.
