How to change the subject of alert email in SQL SERVER 2008 R2

    Hi Everyone,

    I have set up some alerts for mirroring monitoring, and in case of failure we recieve notification emails.Is there any way that I can change the subject of email.Because on the subject of email, we see "SQL Server Alert System: 'DB Mirroring State: No Quorum' occurred on \\", How can we change the ''\\" to the server name that error has happned?

    Check in your DB Mail account profile that the Display name field has something in it.

    Well being techy You have one more option to get a user defined subject in email notification you can try third party tool also

    see if you can use procedure sp_send_dbmail

    where you can change your Subject of email according to requirement

    and append your server name or address
