From the instances active node open SQL Server configuration manager.
Change the service passwords and apply, you'll get a message stating that changes wont take effect until restart.
Open cluster manager and take the SQL Server service offline, once done bring the SQL Server agent online (this starts the SQL Server service)

Yes, that is how it is supposed to be done via Microsoft. Do NOT use the services panel to change the userid/password.

Perry is totally 110% correct. Make sure before you restart services though that no one is working in the production environment or you will have some explaining to do lucy! lol
