I've run into a problem I have no idea how to solve, or if it even needs solving... I just installed SQL Server 2000 on a new server, but when entering license information I accidentally entered 4 Per Seat licenses, instead of the 4 Per Processor licenses it should have been. :/
Now, I have no idea how to change this? In SQL7 you could change it in the licensing applet in Control Panel, but apparantly you can't do it in SQL2K. Any ideas?

Check you 80\Tools\Binn folder where you installed SQL Server for a file called sqlslic.cpl. This is the control panel licensing applet that will allow you to change the licensing mode for the server. I believe that you can only change it once and then your stuck with that licensing mode.
Hope this helps.

Ah, you're right, I can't change the licensing mode. Only add extra per seat licenses...
