How to change distributor

  Hello all

  I am trying to configure replication with very little knowledge on the topic

  I already have a working distributor on a server and several other server replicating their data using it

  A new server is on play now and I need to replicate one of the databases to the common repository

  I already set up the server as a publisher on the distributor side,

  When I select the publisher properties on one of the already working servers is shows the name of the server distributor but on the new one it shows repl_distributor

  My problem is that when I try to enable a new database to be replicated i always get this message:

  Could someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

  Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

  If I understand correctly, the new publisher displays a wrong distributor, right?

  Change the distributor using sp_adddistributor. See here for more detail.
