I have been playing a little bit with database email for the first time. Database Mail was already set up on the server by another teammate long time back.
I see that there are several profiles defined and I know which one is being used at the moment. However, I didn't find any way to set or change the email profile actually used by the sql server. Can someone please shed some light on it?
TIA.

probably what you are asking, is, if you have multiple email accounts, how do i change which one is used for the default email profiles?
IN SQL Server Management Studio, int he object explorer expand Server Name
Go To >>Management folder
right clicking on Database Mail
Choose Configure Database Mail.
that's found here:
you might want to Manage Existing Database Mail Accoutns as well, if you were changing some parameter in an existing setup; it depends on teh specific question, i think.

Thanks. I see that now.
It didn't occur to me that setting up default email profile will be under Security tab/page!
A little clarification about my question. What I have understood so far is that I can define multiple email profiles and each profile may include multiple accounts and also one email account may be used by more than one profile. With this understanding, I asked how to change the default email profile and you pointed me to the right direction. So, why do you think my question wasn't worded correctly? (just want to understand what I missed).
