How to capture the Exclusive lock.

    HI,

    is there a way to capture the exclusive lock on the table more then a minute?.

    I want to create the alert when it happen.

    If you are using MOM 2005 the SQL Server Management Pack has alerts for just this and a number of other relevant SQL monitoring criteria.

    MOM 2005 supports SQL 2000 and SQL 2005.
