I would like to capture (snapshot) data shown by taskmanager on come of my sqlserver-servers. (NT4 with latest sp and sql7 sp4)
Because these are not dedicated sqlservers and they have only 512mb ram, I would like to take a momentum snapshot of memory total in use / available.
DOS MEM does not deliver the needed info and I don't want to use perfmon just to take a snapshot.
Anyone have any idea how to do this ?

Couldn't you set up performance monitor to capture the data to a log file every 15 seconds?
I can't remember whether this was available on NT 4 so maybe it's not an option for you (the things I forget )

I've used PSTAT.exe from the Wk2 resource kit to capture the data,
then transfered the intercepted output to a central place
, imported them into SQL and ran a filterquery to produce my report.
