How to apply a SQL password to mulitple users

  We have a software call Freedom dictaphone that uses SQL. if we don't apply a password, when our machines get scanned we get hit with about 2000 points for that blank password. But i know i have applied the correct password to this user and has been working fine for months. All of a sudden she is getting scanned with blank password. Does SQL password reset it self after a certain time frame or is there a way to add the password to the default group within the registry to that it applies to all profiles.
