How to acces an .avi file from a field in a report

    Hello,

    I have a report with a field that I need to be able to click on to access an .avi file located on a different drive. Currently the file name is in the field but I can not find an explanation on how to make this a link to the file. Any help would be greatly apprecicated.

    Update:

    I have moved the .avi files to the same directory as the database.

    If I open IE on the SQL Box that the databases are on and enter file///f:/TSD%20Movies/Heat123.avi the movie plays. But if I enter the same in the expression for the link in the report I get the following error message - Error 2[rsCompilerErrorInExpression] The ActionInfo.Action.Hyperlink expression for the text box ‘HEAT_NUMBER’ contains an error: [BC30654] 'Return' statement in a Function, Get, or Operator must return a value.C:\ConnorsFiles\Connors\src\products2.0\SlagDetect\rdl\Detail_Heat_Report_BH.rdl

    Here is exactly what I am entering in the expression - ='file///f:/TSD%20Movies/Heat123.avi'

    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Additional information: I am using SQL Data Tools on my computer and VNC to the computer that the data and movies are on.
