Ah... found it in a 12 year old post of mine. Please see the following post. You can also replace the vendor's code and eliminate the possibility of getting the wrong ID by converting the variables (like the increment) to hard coded values (1 for the increment). You should probably ignore the code that uses a cursor after that. You can do all sorts of stuff without one.
