BTW, can one of you moderator type dudes do something about that message from mccork? I think we'll all agree that the integrity of the post can be sacrificed so we don't have to scroll everywhere
Hope this helps

I have kids older that some people on this broad! Trying to get rid of the last 2 kids(12, and 15) I feel like I am going thru the 6th and 8th grade AGAIN! 2 cats, 45 fish in a 90 gallon tank. On second wife, first one had to GO! (another nightnare from beyond). 3rd career.....I like this one much more that programming life. (get to do both). Faced with 5,000 layoffs in this company, hope I make it. Good luck to all that read this.

I haven't got to 30 yet but working on it.
Married with 2 babies (2yrs girl and 13 months boy). I am a full time mom/wife/general contractor as well as full time dba. Guess which job is the hardest? babysitting is much harder then working.

It depends... some teens have a very good relationship with their parents. Others don't. Can't speak as a parent of a teen but I can speak as someone who worked with that age group in church... usually it takes them finally realizing you aren't a total dunce (keep in mind that in their pre-teen years it was all about hero-worship) and then they'll start to open up.

To read some of the posts in this thread it would be easy to believe that getting older is a bad thing. I'll be 44 in March. Have 5 children ages from 14 - 23 and a 3 year old grandson. On my third (or is it my fourth) carreer and working my dream job. Sql Server Support Engineer. Life doesn't get any better 🙂

I can like a person. People are arrogant, ignorant, idiotic, irritating and mostly just plain annoying.
