We have hundreds of thousands of you in the SQL Server community. ...

There are 1,742,404 logins on the site

is the ratio of logins to people closer to 10-1 or 5-1?

Lots of developers and others who don't normally come to the SQL Server events. I have no good idea of where the community of people are who primarily work with SQL Server. It's probably a few million, but hard to tell.

Do you have a way of estimating that? Are you including online events?

  • OK Steve. I have donated now. Having read the posts am I right in saying that you are going to ne wearing Hawaiian shirt, matching (good spot ;-)) socks and a feather boa???

    Gaz

-- Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen...they're everywhere!!!

  • I am curious to see what the goal status looks like. You mentioned a dollar figure had been reached. Where can we see the overall dollars reached compared to the goal?

And of course I finally found the tracker.

The (old) estimate I had was that the MCDBA count was close to 1mm. Lots don't ceritfy, and lots do that aren't DBAs.

    I'm wildly guessing.

I hadn't planned on a boa, but I have a couple of "rainbow" ideas floating. Gonna have to shop soon.
