What percentage of SQL Server 2005 admins do you think have used the merge replication feature? I would guess 5%.
I just reviewed a SQL Server certification exam that had a few questions on merge replication, which seemed like an unusual emphasis to me. The test had zero questions on Reporting Services, which I would bet maybe 10% of SQL Server 2005 admins use. For analysis services, I would guess 2%.
Thank you,

Your percentages look like good guesses to me. That's why I've never gone for certification. Even job descriptions don't reflect what you need to know to do a job. Some idealistic person was told to put together a description, and they did. I don't think my job has EVER been what the job description said it would be Why certify for everything if all you really have to do is know what it takes to do your job?
Okay, I beleive there's another forum for "certification" talk... so I won't go on... Cheers!
Thank-you,
