I agree with you SSIS is completed for simple task to provide complete ETL tool...
Did you try SQL server Object transfer task in SSIS?

If I use SQL Object Transfer I still have to deal with the FKs before and after the Object Transfer task.
I just came to another dead end with SQL 2005. I have database A with tables, views, stored procedures. The database has data inside. I need to generate a script to recreate database A with all tables, views, and stored procedures. I don't neeed data; I just need the script to create a blank database. With SQL 2000 I just need less than 30 seconds to click and click and click to generate the script in EM. Now I am sitting pulling my hair don't know how to this with SQL 2005. Of course I can have separate scripts to create database, create tables, create views, create stored procedures. But why are there many steps?
