Good question. Not sure. I think you can alter your nickname, which gives you options.

Well that was a roundabout way to do it but yeah it worked.

I updated my nickname then it appeared in the dropdown

Then I updated my nickname back to what it was.

No idea how/why WordPress does this, but I see a similar thing in my blog.
