How do I write and use my own code within an SSRS report?

    I wanted to write a custom function within an SSRS report. Naturally I did a search and came across this article on custom code within SSRS. However it doesn't seem to work. I duplicated what was there for my own function, but when I tried to use it within an expression, SSRS just went "huh?".

    So how does one write their own code and use/reference it?

    The information in the link you included works correctly. Without knowing what you actually did within your report, it is difficult to even guess what is wrong with your report. The Code you included in your report properties Code tab, the expression you used and the actual error message from SSRS would be kinda handy
