I've provided step-by-step instructions on how to access SSIS packages, provided screen shots, and even code snippets. The non asp.net developers are still not understanding it. Anyone have any recommendations for me? I think the "power of google" would be useful.

what exactly do you need the "non asp.net developers" to do?

Show them simple packages using the GUI in BIDS. It is a nice start.
The first line of code starts with coffee. The last line ends with alcohol.

I need them to check to see if some files are available before the rest of the package runs. This can be achieved with a simple vbscript or such.

Do they know VBscripting? You probably have to schedule or pay for training if they don't. What is their background?
