All SQL Server 2005 objects have been removed via Control Panel.
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 key has been deleted from the registry.
SQL Server Services have been stopped.
All unwanted dll ‘s have been removed
This instance will become a failover instance/node (instance2) once all of SQL Server 2005 has been removed.
I have searched Google for the answer and what I’ve found was to either fix or install the SQL Server Configuration Manager. Will someone show me a site to go to or tell me how to delete the SSCM?
Thank you
RonKin

What version of SQL will you be running?
It's always best to do a clean install of the OS rather than add/remove SQL

If you uninstall SQL Server, that should remove it.
I am not sure if there is any other supported way to do this, why do you think that you need to do this? Would disabling it be enough?

Here's another question? What happens when I go to install SQL Server 2005 on the second instance as a failover node? Would mmc.exe affect the reinstall?
Thanks,
RonKin

If you are installing this onto a server that will be a part of a cluster, then you only need to install to the virtual name - not both servers. The installation will take care of installing on both nodes.
