How do I configure the object explorer window

  Hi, I'm a new-ish DBA and am wondering how to get the object explorer in SQL2005 to show the details of jobs like Enterprose manager did. In SQL 2000, I can see (and sort) category, enabled, runnable, status, last run start date, next run, etc. In SQL 2005 all I can see is the name of the job and have to look at properties window for the individual job to find out any detail. I keep clicking around and can't find how to set this up.

  Hi,

  as far as I know you can't do this in the object explorer directly. But have a look at the "job activity monitor" under the "SQL Server Agent" node.

  There you get all the information you need.
