How change SQL Server 7 Name?

  I changed the name of our Win2K box and wanted to change the name of the SQL 7 server running on it. But when I rebooted the box I get the error: "Your SQL Server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with (unknown Package ID). Please rerun setup."

  I don't like the choice. Any help much appreciated.

  Rerun the setup will only update the server's name and nothing would be done the the databases.
