How can I retrieve text field into table?

    I have exported (My code) a simple table into a text file. The primary content is a large text field defined in EM as Name is PLEP, Data type is text.

    The receiving field in the text file now contains the content of the original text field in the Table.

    I have tried several ways to import this field back into a similar table. No matter what I try the result is the same: The receiving field in the table (The same one that contained the 16 Char "<Long Text>" that presumably points to the actual contents) winds up with the actual content of the field rather than the "Pointer".

    Is there a gap in my knowledge here? What might I be leaving out?

    By any chance 'text in row' specified for the receiving table?
