I didn't ask for the entire proc. I said, if you want us to do all of the work for you, give us table definitions (as create table statements), sample data (as insert statements) and your desired result.
Ah geez, you didn't want to do the rewrite based on the original code?
Actually, it is pretty long, and probably not the best way to figure out what needs to be done.

You might need to make two updates if you can't get it done in one. Gail has given you good hints, and you might want to spend a bit of time working with them to try and move things around.
