HouseKeeping Jobs for Sql server and Scripts

    Hi,

    Can anybody tell me what are the housekeeping jobs necessary for sql server in production and how frequently they need to run and what is the script for these hosekeeping jobs.

    If this was possible, I think a lot of people on this forum would be out of a job.

    The really basic stuff can be taken care of in Maintenance Plans (backups, re-indexing, updating statistics, etc) and for a simple set-up that may be all you need.
