I hope it's not just my poor ol' 12 year old machine acting up but it seems that I'm getting a lot of the following error message lately.
Sorry, an error has occurred
If problems persist, please contact us to let us know.
When reporting this error, please quote the error identifier: 3176823
Clearing my cache doesn't fix it and the forums come up no problem even when this problem exists.

I've found the same problem since the site was migrated. I hope everything comes back to normal soon.

Sorry about these errors everyone - we're aware of them, and trying to track them down!
The move to the shiny new hardware seems, as a result of it being shiny and fast, to have exposed a race condition that's been there for some time. As these things tend to be, it's a little awkward to fix, so sorry for the annoyance while we do so, but hopefully normal service will be resumed soon :-).
Cheers,
Rob
