  I have created a SSIS 2005 package and deployed in sql server 2005 standard edition (server A). I used script component and execute sql task. I am trying to invoke the package using stored procedure form sql server 2005 enterpise edition (server B). SSIS is not installed on Server B. I am getting the higer level edition required error.

  I believe you need to install SSIS on the machine you are trying to invoke the package from.

  one case that you cound encounter this error is when one server uses 64bit edition of sql server and the other x86....
