I was able to create a way for a User to see specific folders when they go to the home page of the SSRS. But in the home page, I still see "Folder Settings" and "Details View".
Is there a way to hide it from a specific user?
TIA,
Chuck

The answer in this link might help you. You can disable the 'folder settings' tab (for a role though) but cannot disabled the 'detailed view' tab
Thank you for reply. I have seen that link. I have create a role via SSMS. My User has only the ability to "VIEW REPORTS" and "VIEW FOLDERS" enabled. The rest of the tasks are disabled. But the "FOLDER SETTINGS" option still exist. I can live with the 'Detailed view' tab enabled.
Any other ideas? Attached is my setting for my USER.

You can modify the CSS file for your ReportServer, check out this link, the reply from thomas.briscoe has what you need:

It's a hack, but I can verify it does work.

Thanks for the info hiding the "Details View" option that's great!
But I am still having problems on how to hide the "FOLDER SETTINGS" by USER permission. In my previous post prior to your reply, explains what I have done so far.
