Hide tables in SSMS Object Explorer if user doesn't have permission

    I have a couple of developers who need SELECT only right to just a few tables in a db that has hundreds of tables. Is there a way to limit in Object Explorer so they only see the tables they have permission to?

    I don't think that's implemented in SSMS.

    Unless i'm misunderstanding the question, if the user is only granted select to certain tables (under securables), then in their object browser they will only see those tables available, in both 2005 and 2008?
