Hi All,
I would like to control user access to my Report Manager. In detail,I would like to hide some report folders from certain users when they access the Report Manager. Some of the users are not suppose to see certain folders on the report manager, and some users are suppose to see all report folders.
Example:
User A of Group A can only view/see/access folder A on report manager.User B of Group B can access/view/see both A & B folders on report manager.
How can I do this?.Where should I include this settings?

How did you get this to work for you? I have the same situation and need to know what I need to do to get my users where I want them.
Any help you can give would really be appreciated.

You have to go through all folders and manually remove user rights on them (Properties tab -Security)

Thanks for your reply, I figured that out about an hour after I posted my message. I went back through my documentation and a book I bought then I did some trial and error testing and bingo! It wasn't as hard as I had thought it would be.
Thanks again for taking time to reply.

I see this is an OLD question - but our soluton to this very problem was to use Active Directory group(s) to limit access to reports.
We had a group of reports that only a small group of people should see - so we made the main folder so all our Domain Users could Browse - then on the folder with the reprots that were restricted we made a Active Directory group named ProdRead(could be anmed anything) and gave that group Browse and removed the Domain Users from this folder.
Very simple - just put the people that need access to those resticted reports in the Active Directory group - don't have to do anything special to EACH report as long as they are in the protected folder.
