Help with SQL Training books and CDs

    Hi

    Can anyone recommend a good SQL training book and CD which can take you through the basics and onto advanced query writing, etc?

    I don't have an SQL server and don't know if I need one to learn it from home. Could someone please give me some advice.

    I don't know any books but if you need SQL server to try some stuffs you can download SQL Server Express from Microsoft.com and try a few tutorial queries.

    You can install a few sample DBs at the same time so you don't have to create your own data.
