Help with removing articles from the snapshot agent queue in transaction replication.

  SQL 2000 SP3A transaction replication.

  So I went into replication properties and added two articles to my publication. I do not have the snapshot agent to automatically run. I have it set up that way so there won't be any blocking issues during production hours. I will normally manually run the snapshot agent after hours to add the articles. So my question is...

  There is an article that I need to remove from the snapshot agent so it won't be created and replicated. How do I do this? Is there a way to clear out any articles pending in the snapshot agent?

  if i remember right you cant remove articles without dropping and recreating
