  Hey guru's

  I read the thread JP started entitled "help on memory config??", and I have some questions allong those lines.

  I have a Windows 2003 Enterpirse Server SP1 with the PAE.  It has 16 gigs of RAM, used mostly for a data warehouse. I am wanting to utilze most of this memory for SQL Server. 

  What things do I need to consider to set the memory higher?  The LAN guy had mentioned something about some issue could arise (http://tinyurl.com/8fcg4). 

  Please advise!

  You will have to enable AWE. See BOL for Info. Then you will have to manually allocate RAM to SQL Server via it's SQL Server Properties.
