Can someone please help how to repair the node? The default instance is missing or not visible on node b. Do I need to repair the node B or Node A? if I do then how do you repair the node?

go into add\remove programs on that node, do you see sql server installation information here?

Curious, what makes you think the instance is not installed on Node B?
Did you install the instance originally?
If so, What options did you use when selecting the installable nodes?

what do you see in add remove programs on node B??
Also check for the SQL Server registry hive in the registry!
