Hi,
I am trying to setup SQL 2005 on a Small Business Server.
The installation setup 3 registered servers that I do not want to use for my purposes.
I have created a new server registration using Managerment studio express.
But it does not give me the option to "Start" it. it is disabled.
Am I missing something here??
Please assist me.

You could use :
- start\run Services.msc and start your sqlsever service overthere.
- Or use the SQL Server Configuration Manager, but I don't know it that accompanies SQLExpress.

for the SSCM (config manager) you'd have to connect to the physical box on which sqlsever is installed. (authority ?)
