    I'm going to leave all aspects of work, bug fixes, moving to better hardware, upgrades, etc, etc, out of this and simply say, Mr. Jones, thank you for what you do and what you have done.  You're one of a kind and you have all the right stuff and have enriched the lives of thousands, if not, millions of people.  I know my life would be quite different (and probably not for the better) had you not chosen the paths that you've taken.  Have a very happy new year and I wish you and yours the very best.
