Happy anniversary

  • Happy anniversary to you Frank.

You are now exactly one year part in this outstanding online community.

During this year you have boosted your own knowledge about SQL Server to an acceptable level.

You obviously enjoy it here and you hope that this will go on....

  • Congrats and well done Frank, you sentimental sycophantic old fool.

  • Am I wrong or are you much older than me ??????

Hey, I expanded my vocabulary today with two new ones.

That's too much, I need to head for the weekend now.

Enjoy the rest of your work!

So you already knew "capricious" or "sycophantic"?

  • Congrats, Frank. And I don't think Steve, Andy, or Brian Knight are going to lock this thread just yet so you can receive the praise you so richly deserve.

Age is indeed relative. One of my older math professors taught me this as he continually whipped us young whipper-snappers in class after class. Ah, the days, of Dr. Durgun!

  • bonne anniversary Frank. Have a beer and relax this weekend. Try not to sneak in and answer any questions.

  • Sorry Patrick, I guess this site is like a drug to me

    Can't resist....

    Well, thanks to you all.

I'm sitting here relaxed in front of my notebook (hehe David, I'm certain my next car will not be a Mitsubishi), have a glass (or two, who cares anyway) of real great Bordeaux (A cristmas present of a broker friend of mine) and feel just fine. Kiddies are sleeping. Life can't get much better.

    And as for Jonathan:

David uses 'sycophantic' frequently. I knew it before, but forgot it.

Wouldn't it be great to have a 'SQL Server Central' convention.

I really wish to see to you all face to face !!!

  • Hmmm, SQL Server convention...I just imagine a long line of cubicles with everyone typing in their computers sending messages back and forth...pretty much what happens anyway.

  • Hey, did you get promote by this post?

    That's a rather pessimistical picture, I think.

I have heard of computer freaks who are still able to communicate with each other by a tool called 'word of mouth', 'face to face' or something like that. At least that's what a friend of mine mailed to me.

    Now, serious.

    Why not???

  • Thanks, but the one that promoted me was in oraclecom?.

Word of mouth...I've heard of that. People actually talking in the same room. Odd concept. It will never catch on.

There are SQL conventions. I have not been to one, but I do know they exist because they send me a sign-up sheet and a bill for $1200.

Looks like you've made it. I don't even get a sign-up sheet, not to speak of a bill.
