I have a join that displays types of equipment and how many pieces that type of equipment a company has. There are now multiple rows of the same company with the type of equipment and how many there are but I want to group the sum of the pieces of equipment under the same company. Not sure how to do this. Here is an example of the table
Company Pieces of Equipment
Company1 12
Company1 20
Company2 5
Company2 3
Company3 1
I am kinda familar with Grouping and count. Figured that might be along the right path. Any suggestions???? Thanks.

Something like this?
SELECT Company, SUM([Pieces of Equipment])
FROM ...
GROUP BY Company

Sounds like a line from The Incredibles or something.
But it's true, the only stupid questions are those that are not asked.
