  Hi Guys

  I am Working on Adventureworks2008 and i have a question about how can i get the employment history of an employees so that i am able to know that how long they are working for the company and how many different positions he/she worked for.....................

  OK but give us a little additional information... what table(s) contain the information you need? How are the tables linked (Foreign key) or?

  What have you attempted (your T-SQL statement)

  Also note you posted this to a SQL 2000 forum, and you appear to be using SQL 2008, now which is it?

  If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

  You seem to be starting with SQL Server.

  Follow a good T SQL Server programming book and then practise that on AdventureWorks2008.

  It would be better to post real time issues / questions that you are facing in these forums. rather than asking a fundamental question on T SQL.

  You have asked a question on SQL 2008 Database in a SQL 7 / 2000 Forum.
