Hi there, I'm new to BI and OLAP on sql server, what would be a good resourse to begin learning it?
Actually, for DTS for beginers as well, since I think OLAP and DTS are very closely related, correct?
Any suggestions are welcome

We use a book by Carl Rabeler SQL Server 2000 DTS step by step - although it did not contain any information on the specific task we were looking for (FTP push). It was very upfront about what was not covered.

It depends on how intro you want to be. I write a column over at http://www.informit.com/guides/content.asp?g=sqlserver&seqNum=14, and I've done some light DTS and OLAP stuff there. I also wrote a books called "Essential SQL Server 2000" that you can find here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0201742039/qid=1115899012/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-2428799-8048731?v=glance&s=books&n=507846. It has an introduction to DTS that goes a bit further, and also does a decent job on introducing OLAP.

Might wanna start with something by Ralph Kimball. Can't go wrong with that.

One that I've found to be indispensible is "SQL Server 2000 Fast Answers for DBAs and Developers" by Joseph Sack. Many How-Tos and quick answers to your questions.
