Good information on permissions for RS

    Hi,

    I have looked around alot and searched different things but am not really getting a definite answer on this.

    Does anyone have any good information on permissions in RS? Specifically I need information on users rather than admins. Is it really necessary to set up all users as an admin on the RS machine? This seems abit excessive/unnecessary when all these people will be doing is running a report.

    Thanks for any links/advice am trying to get my head around this.

    The Report Manager has roles to which you can assign users. Your permission for running the report and the reports access to the db should be separate. If a user has browser permission on a report they should be able to run the report.
