Try http://www.q4bis.com. It may not be free but (as the sales guys say) it's good value. Sells in Europe, USA and Australia/NZ.

So, basically what everyone is saying, is that there no possible way to view the cube over the web exactly the same as it can be viewed in the Analysis Server?
ie, the cube browser on the web.
But if there is any possible way, please could someone let me know how...
Thanks,
Ryan.

I would say that office web components are probably the closest, but there's a couple of others around. Still in beta (been in beta for quite a while ) is the Enterprise Blocks component set, but it is a neat little set of components, with a pretty good demo download (requires logging of details). There was another that I tried out but for the life of me can't remember it at the moment, but I'll shoot it through when I do. Best I stop here anyway, started out by plugging our company and am now plugging others 😛

Remembered the other control, Snowflake (now at v2.0 I believe) from Intellimerce. I think I tried out v1 but haven't tried out v2.0 as yet, so can't offer comment (plus would then be plugging "competitor" again
😀
Marco, maybe you could use one of these for your product?
Can anyone offer comment on Snowflake product?

If you just want the web cube structure used by the analysis service tool, go to this folder if you have the SQL2K version:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Help80\Data
I suggest you copy all files in this folder to a new folder in your InetPub\wwwroot folder. Then you will need to edit the data.htm and 101cube_date.htm files -> pointing to your cube.
This will give you the basic cube form you see in the Analysis services app.
BTW: not sure if MS wants you or any one else to know this trick, or if they license.
but it works.
What's the business problem you're trying to solve?

Does anyone know of any true platform independant (ie, not Microsoft dependant) client applications (such as the Resource Kit or thinslicer) for AS?
Thanks,
Ryan

Sorry, lot of the stuff you talked about are way over my head.
When you talk about Pivot table, which software are you talking about? Are you talking about the browse data feature in Analysis Manager?
