I am taking a temp to perm position. The previous DBA used this position to learn ASP.net( management is not technical- no clue what was going on). They have since resigned and I need to learn the code. Any ideas/suggestions on good books/webcast for beginners in ASP.net?
Thanks in advance.

Best one I've seen is Programming Microsoft ASP.NET, by Dino Esposito, Microsoft Press.
Mircrosoft also has a number of webcasts, the Essential ASP.Net by Fritz Onion being good ones

Check out the website by Paul Sheriff, http://www.pdsa.com.
He has written several low cost E-Books (one on ASP.NET) and has also written "ASP.NET Jumpstart".
Both are excellent texts for beginning ASP.NET programming.
